COVID-19 Service Offering

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has had a significant impact on our economy as well as the way in which we conduct business.  Employers are required to put additional safety measures in place, like regular disinfection of surfaces and social distancing to minimise the risk of cross contamination and contracting of COVID-19 on the premises.

How germs spread

Before COVID-19, many of us were largely unaware of just how quickly and severely germs could affect our lives. Studies show that people touch their faces an average of 23 times per hour. Doing so after grabbing onto a communal door handle could easily transfer bacteria to a source of entry, such as your eyes or mouth, without you even realizing it. But surface to person is not the only way that germs can spread. There are actually three primary modes of germ transmission.

  • Surface to person: via contact with contaminated surfaces

  • Air to person: via airborne respiratory droplets, produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes, traveling independently or attaching to dust particles in air currents

  • Person to person: via direct contact, or as part of group gatherings at work, school, or home

Aerosol disinfectant foggers

Rentokil’s aerosol disinfectant fogger is a highly effective, ready-to-use disinfectant in a pressurised can.  This product does not require the use of special PPE and has easy to follow instructions. The treatment is also relatively quick as you only need to wait an hour before re-entering the treated space.  Our range of aerosol foggers includes solutions for both general disinfection and areas in which there has been a confirmed case of COVID-19.

Vehicle disinfection

Our vehicle disinfection service has been designed to reduce cross-contamination and reassure staff, customers and visitors that your vehicles are safe and that high standards of hygiene are in place.  Our service is suitable for many essential modes of transport, such as commercial fleet vehicles, buses, taxis and local authority vehicles and is performed by specially trained technicians to ensure minimal disruption to your business.

Your vehicles should be available for use within approximately one hour of the treatment being completed.

Hand and surface sanitiser

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic means that maintaining good hygiene standards in your business is more important than ever before. Initial offers a range of hand and surface sanitisers that have been tested and accredited to ensure your safety, and the safety of your colleagues and employees.

Available in various sizes, depending on your choice of product.

We highly recommend our range of 100 ml and 250 ml hand sanitisers for individual use. 
Surface sanitiser is available in 5L containers.
